Post-Bar Law Clerks

Spring Post-Bar 2027

  • The El Dorado County District Attorney’s Office is accepting applications for a Post-Bar Clerk (Graduate Legal Clerk) for the Spring of 2027. The clerkship is anticipated to begin in March 2027 and end once bar results are received. To be eligible for this position, you must anticipate graduating from an ABA or California accredited law school in the end of 2026, with plans to take the next available California State Bar exam.

Investigator

Under general direction, plan, organize, and participate in the investigation activities of one or more units of the Criminal Investigations Division of the District Attorney’s Office, including investigations related to felony, misdemeanor, juvenile, civil and related cases; and perform related duties as assigned.

Deputy Attorney

The Deputy Attorney’s in the El Dorado County District Attorney’s Office, prosecute adult and juvenile offenders for criminal offenses, evaluate law enforcement reports and documents, assist in search warrant preparation, prepare and file legal briefs and memoranda relating to prosecution activities and appeals, conduct original and supplemental investigation of cases, prepare for and conduct trials, post-trial and sentencing hearings, and appeals.

Associate Attorney

The Associate Attorney’s in the El Dorado County District Attorney’s Office, prosecute adult and juvenile offenders for criminal offenses, evaluate law enforcement reports and documents, assist in search warrant preparation, prepare and file legal briefs and memoranda relating to prosecution activities and appeals, conduct original and supplemental investigation of cases, prepare for and conduct trials, post-trial and sentencing hearings, and appeals.

Sr. Attorney
