TAKING A STAB AT IT - STREET JUSTICE BACKFIRES

Christopher Michael Weise, age 45, plead no contest to Assault with a Deadly Weapon in violation of Penal Code section 245(a)(1).

Weise exacted his own form of justice in June, 2018 when he attacked an adult male from behind with what was believed to be a kitchen knife with a 4" long blade.  The victim, who survived the attack, sustained a single stab wound to his lower back.   The irony was not lost on the victim who himself is alleged to have attacked Weise with a knife one month earlier under similar circumstances.

The plea agreement requires Weise to serve two years State Prison for his actions.  The case was investigated by the Placerville Police Department and prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Miles Perry.

Weise's victim is still awaiting trial for the original assault.
