PAROLEE CONVICTED FOR FAILING TO REGISTER AS SEX OFFENDER

Ronald Shon Miller, age 44, was convicted of Felony Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

On July 8, 2018, Miller and his girlfriend were in a loud verbal argument.  Concerned citizens reported the dispute, and upon investigation law enforcement determined that Miller was out of compliance with his requirement to register as a sex offender due to his 1994 conviction for Rape of a Child in the State of Washington.  Miller is also currently on parole as a result of a 2014 conviction for Possession of Altered/Forged Narcotic Prescriptions.

Miller was sentenced to 160 days on the new charge and found in violation of the terms of his parole.  The case was investigated by the El Dorado Sheriff's Office and prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Ashley Colivas.
