Jesse Bryan King, age 39, was convicted of felony theft and sentenced to 180 days in the county jail, placed on 5 years formal, supervised probation and ordered to pay $9,959.54 in restitution to the Gold Oak Union School District.
In March of 2016, King stole security cameras from a school. Unfortunately for King, the cameras were working at the time of the theft and recorded him committing the crime. While the case was pending against King, he failed to appear in court and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On August 17, 2016, King was featured in the District Attorney's weekly "Most Wanted Wednesday" posting and captured 8 days later by Deputy Jeff Tucker and his K-9 partner.
King has a lengthy
criminal history, which includes resisting arrest, lying to police, assault,
DUI, and domestic violence.
