District Attorney Vern Pierson Announces Felony Domestic Violence Conviction of Larry Frank Enyart

District Attorney Vern Pierson announces the felony convictions of Larry Frank Enyart for criminal threats and assault with a deadly weapon.

The seven men and five women jury heard testimony and evaluated evidence presented by Deputy District Attorney Miles Perry. During trial the jury learned that the defendant assaulted his girlfriend of over twenty years by holding a knife to her throat and threatening to kill her. The victim subsequently barricaded herself in the bathroom of the residence and called 911 for help. The jury returned a verdict of guilty on all counts after just one and a half hours of deliberations. The case was investigated by the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office and the El Dorado County District Attorney's Office. 

The Defendant is scheduled to be sentenced in Department 2 of the El Dorado County Superior Court on March 12, 2018. The Defendant could face up to four years and eight months in state prison.
